MOVES TO MAKE THIS WEEK

How to use our recommendations:

  • BUY: Go get these players - we think they will be available at a value. Check out our trade value chart to help put together a trade!
  • SELL: These players are being valued higher than we think they should. If you have them, consider cashing out for a better player before their value drops!
  • ADD: These guys are available on waivers in at least 50% of leagues - but they're worth a spot on your bench!
  • DROP: To make these adds and trades, you're going to have to clear roster space. These guys are rostered in more than half of leagues, but you can safely drop them for a good waiver option.
  • STREAM: These are guys with good matchups for next week! They will primarily be QB/TE's that you can pick up to cover your bye week this week!
  • LEAVE TO YOUR LEAGUEMATES: These are guys that we think are just flashes in the pan. Your league mates are going to get excited and bid on them...and you should let them! Stay away.

1. BUY Chase Claypool (PIT WR)
  • Claypool had a pretty quiet week 1, but his usage was super interesting! He had 6 rushes and it looked like the team might want to use him in a Deebo Samuel-type role. If you can get him cheap - he's worth the shot!

2. SELL James Robinson (JAX RB)

  • James Robinson was a top fantasy RB this week...but we don't expect it to hold up. He had 2 TD's on only 12 touches - which is not as repeatable as guys touching the ball 20+ times per week. We almost always prefer pass-catching RB's and it looks like Travis Etienne is going to have that roll. If you could sell Robinson for ETN..that would be a smash!

3. ADD Curtis Samuel (WAS WR)

  • Samuel had 11 targets and 4 rushes in week 1. That is the kind of usage you want on your team! Grab Samuel as the top guy off waivers this week! Don't miss out on this one.
4. DROP Tyler Allgier. (ATL RB)
  • Although he had some nice preseason hype...unfortunately a week 1 inactive is a bad sign, if not a death sentence. Is there a change Allgier breaks out later in the season? Sure. Is he worth stashing on your bench? probably not.

5. BUY Chase Edmonds (MIA RB)
  • Chase Edmonds is the clear bell cow on what appears to be a pretty good offense. He didn't light things up in week 1 for fantasy, but the recipe is there for him to become a reliable RB2. Buy him cheap if you can!

6. BUY Breece Hall (ARI RB)

  • It's only a matter of time before Hall takes over 65% of the Jets backfield. In week 1 we got to see him used on the ground, and through the air (10 targets) which is exactly what we wanted! Maybe you can catch a panicking manager and get a trade done.

7. ADD Garrett Wilson (NYJ WR)

  • Wilson had 8 targets in week 1, which is stellar for a rookie. Surprisingly, he is still available in 32% of 10 man leagues, so you might be able to find him on the waiver wire! We love his talent, and if he keeps getting the targets - he's bound to break out.
8. ADD Jahan Dotson (NYJ WR)
  • Dotson didn't see the field a ton this week, but when he did he made the most out of it. On his 5 targets he brought in 2 TDs. Don't start him yet unless you really have to, but if his usage increases, he could be an awesome flex option.

 9. BUY Alvin Kamara (NO RB)

  • People are going to be worried about Kamara, but there's no need to panic. He had plenty of snaps, carries, and targets. The Saints just ran some of the fewest total plays of any team in week 1. Buy him if you can. He's going to finish as a top 5 RB.

10. SELL Michael Carter (NYJ RB)

  • Carter actually looked pretty solid in week 1, and he had plenty of opportunities to do so. Unfortunately for him, the writing is on the wall that at some point he will likely lose more of the backfield to Breece Hall. Now might be a great time to sell high.

11. ADD Jaylen Warren (PIT RB)

  • This is purely speculation around the Najee Harris injury. If Harris misses any time at all, then Warren will likely be the guy to step up. May as well give him an add!
12. LEAVE TO YOUR LEAGUEMATES OJ HOWARD  (HOU TE)
  • OJ Howard was a top-scoring TE on the week which is sure to garner attention from your league mates. While it could develop into something...right now it sure looks like a flash in. the pan scoring 2 touchdowns on his only 2 targets and catches.

13. ADD Tyler Higbee (LAR TE)

  • Higbee had 11 targets in week 1. If that keeps up, he could turn into a reliable starting TE, especially if Allan Robinson continues to be invisible.

14. BUY Drake London (ATL WR)

  • London had 7 targets and he brought in 5 of them for 74 yards. He is a stud, and there is a real chance the breakout is coming soon! Buy while you can!

15. DROP Dak Prescott (DAL QB)

  •  Dak is likely to miss 6-8 weeks with an injury to his throwing hand. Unless your league has an IR spot, you can drop him to waivers. He's just not enough of a difference-maker for fantasy to waste a bench spot holding him until November. If you can sell him for anything, even better.
